Meditation for Money & Success

“Meditation more than anything in my life was the biggest ingredient of whatever success I’ve had.” That’s what Ray Dalio, the billionaire founder of Bridgewater Associates — the worlds largest hedge fund.- said.

That was the opening sentence to a July 2013 article in the Huffington Post. And that was just the beginning of the article. If you’re asking yourself if meditation can help you succeed, the answer is an astounding YES. There are a number of traits all million and billionaires share with one another. And the number of them who use meditation on a regular basis, is astonishing,

Internet tycoons like AOL and Google both offer meditation & mindful classes to their employees. I point out these two particular companies among many others, because these two companies relate to what you are trying to accomplish, here in the online world. Internet domination!

OK, I’m going too far? Maybe you don’t have your mind focusing quite on total domination of the internet at this point, but that certainly doesn’t mean you can’t start taking small steps.

And look, I’m just some regular guy from New Yawk City, ( Yeah, I said Yawk) so I’m not even talking about all that bowl music or humming background sound sh*t. I’m just talking about taking simple, easy steps to meditation like state. I’m telling you, within a week, you’ll begin to feel a difference.

And hey, if you’re the kind of person who likes the sound effects or visual stimulation while you meditate, all the power to ya. I’m just saying, for me, I want a quiet room. Not having my wife talk for 10 minutes straight, is MY kind of meditation.

Meditation will lower stress, improve memory and cognitive function, and will assist in higher productivity and better physical health. This will all lead to a better work at home enviorment, and will no doubt lead to more profit. Ask Oprah if she meditates…. Don’t bother. I’ll just tell you. She does. I can picture it now. You go to Oprah’s house and start climbing her fence, get arrested and put the blame on me. Don’t do that!

What were we talking about? Oh yeah…..

OK, back to point at hand. Meditation is nothing more than closing your eyes, in a silent atmosphere and taking some deep breathes. Really. That’s what I’m asking you to do. Your homework for tonight is to friggin’ breathe. Most people don’t take notice to their breathing. That’s because their mind is usaually racing with the day’s stresses and “gotta do” lists.

When your doing your breathing, clear your mind. This is the difficult part. Try to erase all your thoughts. When something comes to mind (good or bad) try to dismiss it. Concentrate on your breath. Feel your chest expand and contract. Listen to your inhales and exhales.

Do this for 10 days straight and you’ll see/feel a dramatic difference in yourself. From this point, your business and finances will begin to come together as well. Your mind will be clear. Your thoughts positive. Meditation. Money. Success. That’s the process.

Good luck! Please share your thoughts or questions below!
